Area Director of Operations

James is the Area Director of Operations for Bloom Senior Living's Indiana Region, including Bloom at Kokomo, Bloom at Eagle Creek and Bloom at German Church. He also serves as Bloom at German Church's Executive Director and was previously Bloom at Eagle Creek's Executive Director. James is responsible for overseeing daily operations and providing support to Bloom's Indiana communities, ensuring high quality care and services are provided to residents and achieving high resident satisfaction. Like the Bloom owners who were inspired after experiencing the challenge of finding the right home for their grandmother when she began suffering from Alzheimer's, there is a touching personal story behind James' passion for senior care. James believes in offering a modern, lifestyle approach to healthcare that caters to the needs of each individual. He shares Bloom's vision, core values and is committed to creating a living environment that fosters self-growth and self-actualization for our residents by providing them with the tools, resources and encouragement to flourish. Before joining Bloom, James worked for national providers as the Executive Director and Director of Admissions and Marketing for Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing communities in Indiana. Before becoming a licensed Health Facility Administrator, James ran his own commercial production company specializing in corporate and large-scale entertainment (for clients such as the Indianapolis, Colts, Harrah's Casino, Wonka Candies and Indianapolis Convention and Visitors Association); and worked in the beverage and automotive industries. He is also a professional magician. James attended Indiana State University and is working towards his Master's Degree in Arts at University of Indianapolis. He resides near Greenfield, Indiana with his wife and children.

Executive Director

Susan is the Executive Director responsible for overseeing daily operations of the community, ensuring quality care and services are provided to residents and achieving high resident satisfaction. She's been a healthcare leader for over two decades with strengths in problem solving, developing action plans, effective communication, supervision and training, team building, ensuring strict compliance with regulations, providing high quality care and services to residents and securing positive outcomes for seniors and their families. Over her distinguished career, Susan worked for local and national providers of Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care – as an Executive Director - leading communities throughout Indiana. In her leadership roles, she achieved various accomplishments including maintaining 100% occupancy (signaling strong resident and family satisfaction), team building awards, and top performance surveys for resident, family and associate satisfaction. She has a proven track record of creating cultures consistent with Bloom's mission, values and culture. Susan also held the important position of Executive Director for the Indiana Assisted Living Federation (state affiliate of Argentum) directing the statewide association on behalf of Indiana assisted living communities. As Executive Director, she, among other things, served on the Indiana Department of Health committee to revise Indiana’s Residential Care Rules supporting stronger aging in place; led efforts to change rules allowing for residents requiring advanced care to remain in residential care (if medically stable); led changes allowing residents living in assisted living to receive LTC insurance benefits; lobbied on behalf of Indiana senior living; and served as liaison between communities and the State of Indiana for regulatory and survey issues, Medicaid issues, fire safety, and new administrator license for Residential Care. Susan holds a Residential Care Administrator's license. She received a Master of Science from Indiana Wesleyan University, and a Bachelor of Science from Lincoln Christian University. She sits on the Board of Trustees of Lincoln Christian University, and sat on the Board of Directors for the Indiana Assisted Living Association.

Natasha is the Wellness Director responsible for overseeing resident health care services, the medication delivery system, in-service training of the Health Services Department and conducting assessments. She is a Licensed Practical Nurse and has extensive experience in this regard overseeing resident care at various Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation, Home Health and Assisted Living/Memory Care communities.

Dietary Services Director

Jina is the Dietary Service Director responsible for overseeing the Dietary Department and makes delicious and nutritious home-cooked meals from scratch every day for our residents using only the freshest, seasonal ingredients. Our residents enjoy a five-star dining experience lead by Leesa filled with a rich assortment of menu options. In collaboration with our Registered Dietician, Jina incorporates resident’s personal recipes, special requests, old time favorites and specific dietary needs so our well-balanced gourmet menus are designed with their health, personal tastes and preferences in mind. Understanding how important great food is to our residents, Jina is consistently introducing exciting new cuisines for the community to enjoy. Jina was previously the Culinary Manager at Indiana senior living communities, and is ServeSafe certified.

Brandi is the Life Enrichment Coordinator responsible for planning and coordinating community-sponsored activity, exercise and wellness programs for the Assisted Living residents, as well as, ensuring our residents continue to live life to their fullest potential, enjoying their favorite activities while discovering new ones, and blooming into their best selves through growth and discovery. Brandi is a seasoned event planner, and her creativity and enthusiasm is second to none.

Life Enrichment Coordinator (Memory Care)

Tres is the Life Enrichment Coordinator responsible for planning and coordinating community-sponsored activity, exercise and wellness programs for Memory Care residents, as well as, ensuring our residents continue to live life to their fullest potential, enjoying their favorite activities while discovering new ones, and blooming into their best selves through growth and discovery. Alzheimer’s and dementia does not stop an artist from wanting to paint, a fisherman from wanting to fish or a dancer from wanting to dance. While some residents may have lost their short term memories, Tres' mission, through our specialized programming and full calendar of activities and wellness programs, is to stimulate the long term memories that remain intact allowing our residents to continue being who they have always been.

Director of Maintenance & Housekeeping

George is the Director of Maintenance and Housekeeping responsible for maintenance, repairs and improvements to our residents’ home, as well as, keeping our residents' homes and surroundings in a clean, comfortable and safe condition. He is a dedicated and professional, self-motivated achiever who simply gets the job done. George is respectful and pays attention to detail ensuring our residents are happy and proud to call our community home. He loves working and interacting with our residents and families on a daily basis to ensure our residents are safe and happy.
